Community & Vocational Services Committee 2005 - 2006

Our Aim Is :-

To encourage, stimulate and provide support to the clubs in District 1260 in order that they may achieve their community and vocational objectives.

Our Objectives Are :-

• To identify and assist in the promotion of new and existing suitable projects that are worthy of Club's support.

• To support Clubs with projects they identify that may interest others.

• To be fully aware of the availability of information in order to support Clubs in providing advice or directing them to where information can be obtained.

• To establish a regular communication link with each Club Community & Vocational Chair and the District Executive Committee.

• To provide management and or coordination for those activities identified.

What are the problems the communities in your district are facing? Are local Rotarians making a commitment to improve quality of life by engaging in community service activities? Planning and implementing a service agenda that meets real needs within the community strengthens Rotary's public public image and attracts more members. In turn, increased membership strengthens Rotary's ability to do good in the world.
