A
Tournament held at Hatfield Bishops Girls’ School, aimed at getting local
children interested in “real business and technology”. In this competition
all aspects of making popcorn had to be completed (formulating, making,
quality control, package design, package filling, advertising and making a
website). Among others, the BBC, MacDonald’s and Hatfield Rotary Club were
involved. ▲

The annual charity cycle ride, organised by the three St Albans clubs has been running for ten years and this year attracted about 1600 cyclists. It raises a fantastic £40,000 for charity each year
Community and Vocational Service Projects often tie in with our International Service projects. Pictured above is President Doug Fussell receiving an Aquabox from the children of St Mary's Primary School, Welham Green. The Head teacher, Alison Botareli commented "We felt this was a good alternative to fundraising because the children could understand the use of these things and how they would go to another country to help other people". ▲
