Aquabox - Changes to price, pick-up arrangements and status
26 May 2002

Due to the increase of box Transportation by Parcel Force, resulting from the revamping of their organisation, the cost of return of boxes is increasing, at the end of June.

Consequently Aquabox have had no option but to increase the "Donation" charge per box from £40 to £45.

There will also be a change in the way boxes are returned. You will hopefully find it much more convenient for everyone. We shall provide the relevant Parcel Force freephone contact number and arrangements will then be made directly between the box holder and Parcel Force for collection of all boxes at a mutually convenient time. It will no longer be necessary to take heavy boxes to Post Offices where it is often difficult to park.

It is noticeable that already Clubs are ordering boxes at the revised cost of £45. For a few months Aquabox shall honour the return of boxes in respect to which only the £40 has been paid. However, orders made on old order forms at £35 are being returned - so that a revised order can be made or cancelled. (The £35 revision to £40 was made in September 1988. ).

There has also been a change to the structure of AQUABOX  - to incorporation as a Charitable Company. This is due to be complete, hopefully within 3 or 4 weeks, new brochures will then be printed and I would hope to get some detail of explanation in the RIBI Magazine.

I hope this is clear. However if you have any problems please let me know or you can contact Frank Lund at Aquabox.
